Job Opening - Senior Hardware Engineer

Your primary focus will be to develop and bring to market complex embedded systems to track user activity with a variety of sensors. You will be working alongside other hardware and software engineers to bring products to market. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Location: San Francisco Bay Area preferred, Remote OK

Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical engineering design of sports activity trackers
- Design and validate boards
- Work with CMs in China to bring up products from prototype to mass production
- Lead the debugging of design and manufacturing issues related to hardware
- Travel internationally to support engineering builds if needed

Qualifications:
- Experience with system level design including circuit design, system integration and debug
- Experience with location technologies such as GPS
- Experience working with wireless technologies such as BLE, WiFi, and LoRa
- Experience with manufacturing processes for consumer products
- Experience working with ARM Cortex microcontrollers
- Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, USART, I2C, etc.)
- Knowledge of various sensing technologies (accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, microphone)
