Product Designer (Contract-to-Hire)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Designer to join our dynamic team on a contract-to-hire basis. As a Product Designer at Arccos Golf, you will play a crucial role in designing our mobile app and enhancing the overall user experience. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, stakeholders, and golfers to create intuitive and visually appealing designs that solve real user problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Create user-centric designs for the Arccos Golf mobile app, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. This includes wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
  • User Research and Testing: Conduct user research to gather insights and validate design concepts. Perform usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback and data.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of your designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies. Propose and implement innovative design solutions to improve the overall user experience.
  • Problem-Solving: Think deeply about user problems and create elegant and effective design solutions that meet both user needs and business goals.
  • Communication: Clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders. Provide and receive constructive feedback to and from team members.

Your Expertise:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in product design, with a strong focus on mobile app design.  Experience launching MVP solutions quickly, evaluating user data, and iterating through design improvements
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to think deeply about problems and design elegant and effective solutions. Demonstrated experience in creating user-friendly and visually appealing mobile app designs.
  • Skills: Expert proficiency in design tools (Figma preferred).  Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices, as well as software development and mobile/web technologies.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with developers and other team members. Ability to present and explain design concepts and decisions clearly and convincingly.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced startup environment. Proactive and highly motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Golf Knowledge: Candidates need to either play golf or have extensive knowledge of the sport.


This position is remote eligible (United States), with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone.
