The most important insights are strokes gained, scoring breakdowns, and personalized recommendations on where to improve. All of which is possible without tagging a single club. For club-level detail, you can turn on AI-assisted tagging to infer your club based on distance and your personal play data. Club data can be edited in a matter of seconds during or after a round. Smart Sensors provide definitive club tracking, but club tracking is completely optional and never required to get the full Arccos experience.
How is Arccos Air different from Smart Sensors?
Both give you access to the same game tracking features and insights. The difference is how they track. Arccos Air is a single wearable that replaces the need for your phone, Apple Watch, or sensors on your clubs. Smart Sensors attach to each club and require a phone or Apple Watch on the course, and automatically identify which club you hit on every shot. You can also use both together for a fully automatic, phone-free experience.
How many rounds of data do I need before I get useful insights?
One. After your first round you get a complete Strokes Gained breakdown, scoring insights, and Smart Club Distances. The more you play, the sharper your trends and progress tracking become — but you'll have a clear picture of your game from day one.

Do I need an Arccos game-tracking membership to use the Smart Laser?
