Introducing Smart Edit: a new feature that automatically reconstructs your round the moment you finish playing. Confirm your score and putts for each hole, and Smart Edit fills in the rest, placing shots and refining locations so your round is ready before you've even left the course.

From Simple to Smart

Editing on Arccos has always meant a few quick taps: adjust a club, move a shot, tap the pencil icon to fine-tune a lie. That's the editing experience we introduced with the New In-Play Experience, and it isn't going anywhere. It's served members well.

Smart Edit takes it a step further. Instead of reviewing each shot yourself, you confirm your score and putts once, and Smart Edit builds the rest of the hole around that. What used to take a few taps per hole now often takes none at all.

How It Works

1. Finish your round like you always do.
2. Tap Smart Edit to quickly review your round.
3. Confirm your score and putts for each hole from the scorecard view.

Smart Edit only adds or adjusts what's missing. Shots your sensors already captured correctly stay exactly as they were.

Built on a Decade of Real Shots

Smart Edit runs on Arccos' dataset of more than 1.5 billion real-world shots, captured across thousands of courses in every condition golf can throw at you. That history gives Smart Edit the context to reconstruct your round with real accuracy: where you likely stood, what club you probably hit, and where your ball probably ended up.

FAQ

What is Smart Edit?
Smart Edit automatically fills in your round after you finish playing. Confirm your score and putts, and Smart Edit places any missing shots so your round is complete and accurate. No manual editing required for most holes.

Do I need to do anything after my round?
Just confirm your score and putts for each hole. Smart Edit handles the rest. You can always review and adjust any hole before saving if something doesn't look right.

Will Smart Edit change shots I've already recorded?
No. Smart Edit only adds or adjusts shots that are missing or incomplete. Shots your sensors already captured correctly are left as-is.

Does this work with all Arccos devices?
Smart Edit is available on iOS for members using Arccos Air or phone-based shot detection.

Is this available on Android?
Not yet. Smart Edit is launching on iOS first, with Android support to follow.

What about penalty strokes?
If your score doesn't match the number of shots Smart Edit detected (say, you had a penalty), the hole gets flagged for you to review. A dedicated penalty input flow is coming in a future update.

What if my confirmed score doesn't match what Smart Edit shows?
If your score doesn't match the number of shots on the hole, in either direction, that hole gets flagged for you to review and adjust manually rather than being auto-corrected.
